We've been taking things pretty easy the past week as we prepare for baby. We've just been running errands, primarily for the basement, and hanging out as a family. We did have some excitement last weekend though - first, a surprise birthday party for our neighbor. We really lucked out in the neighbor department - we feel so fortunate that such amazing people moved into our cul-de-sac and have become fast friends! We also got to see some great friends who were in town from Des Moines. We met for lunch at Jack Stack and got to catch-up, sans kiddos! We love being so close to family now that we live in KC but we made some incredible friends in Des Moines that we really miss! It's always great when we get to see them and hopefully once the baby arrives and we are adjusted to being a family of four, we can make a trip up to visit everyone!
