We are now at the 36 week mark...36 weeks and 4 days to be exact. We had a doctor's appointment on Friday...an NST (that went great), our final sonogram (not a lot of "womb" left in there) and a check-up. During our sonogram, we were told the baby is measuring at about 5 pounds and 9 ounces which is a week and a couple days behind. They predict that by delivery, he will be around 7.5 pounds. Nothing new to report from this check-up - everything is looking good. My platelets have continued to fall but the doctor isn't concerned about them yet. So, I will continue my twice-a-week NSTs and will now have also have weekly check-ups. As the days pass, I'm getting more and more ready for this little peanut to join us out here. I'm uncomfortable...and the extreme heat that we've been having the past couple days (and that is here to stay for at least the next week) isn't helping much. We're in the home-stretch though so, I'm just trying to enjoy the our last 18 days we have with our only-child!
