Fun with Friends

When it hasn't been raining, we've been playing outside as much as possible. We've had a couple play dates with friends and lots of time playing with the neighborhood kiddos. We - especially Graham - love that there are so many kids to play with right outside our front door! Here are a few of our play pics lately.

Play date with our besties!

On one of our very few nice weekend days, we spent the entire day outside...including eating lunch outside (one of Graham's favorite things to do - the kid loves picnics)! The day included water guns, slip 'n slides, a water slide and a bounce house. Needless to say, Graham slept good that night!

Our neighbors have the coolest toys! 

As we were driving home from dinner this past Friday night, we noticed our neighbors standing by the newly dug basement two houses up from us. We thought they were just checking out all the water that had collected in the hole (we've had tons of rain since this basement was dug) but, as we got closer, we noticed that the kiddos were actually playing in the mud hole. There was no way that Graham was going to stay out of that with all of his buddies there. So, we went home, put on some dark clothes and grabbed his (and Nate's) mud boots. It was hilarious to watch all the kids play around in the muddy water and race down the mud slides. And, believe it or not, I was surprisingly cool with the fact that my baby was in the mud. It was hard not to be happy seeing how much fun he was having!
