Low-Key Weekend

We had a fairly low-key weekend at home. Friday night, we stayed around the house and sat outside while Graham played. Our party of 3 eventually turned into a block party with our cul-de-sac neighbors which was fun!! On Saturday, my parents were in town to watch Brady and Kambree's ball games. The whole family went to Kambree's game in the morning and then out to lunch but, unfortunately, Brady's game was cancelled. We spent the morning/afternoon with family. I was also finally able to get the prenatal massage that Nate gave me for Mother's Day - amazing! That evening was spent doing chores around the house and grilling dinner before we went for a little ice cream outing. Sunday was a similar story which the exception of a trip to the hospital to visit Nate's Grandpa Jerry who was life flight-ed with heart issues. We were able to arrive the same time he did - actually watching him land and be taken out of the helicopter - and the nurses were giving us brief but comforting bits of information letting us know that he was doing alright which we could then relay back to the rest of the family. Thankfully, he was feeling much better when we got to see him and we're praying that they figure out what was going on. Nate and I have had three separate grandparents in and out of the hospital in the past couple of weeks. It has been a scary time and we pray that they will all to be on the mend and feeling like themselves again very soon!

Sunday evening pool time - he loved it!
Never mind the fact that he was shivering...he "wasn't cold or ready to leave!"
