Spring...and a House Update

We haven't been up to much lately...just enjoying the nice weather (minus the snow yesterday...what's that about?!) and getting outside as much as possible! Graham loves playing outside and would stay out every hour of the day if I'd let him.
Proof - the kid goes crazy outside.
I have to keep reminding myself that I have a BOY...they play hard!
This past weekend we stayed around Kansas City b/c Nate had to travel a ton for work last week. Friday night we went over to Dana, Bobby and Morley's for dinner and a play date. Graham was missing Morley - literally said "I want Mo-ley" every single day last week - and I think Morley had been missing "Gam" as well, so it was time we got these poor kids together. They had a blast eating outside, playing with bubbles and then playing inside and watching Frozen when it got dark. And, it was great for the parents to catch up too!

Saturday we went to Nebraska Furniture Mart to do a little sectional shopping (yay!) before Nate's tee time. Graham and I spent the afternoon hanging out and going to the park with Andee and Kambree. Sunday was rainy so we just went to breakfast and laid low during the day. That night we got to meet baby Blake Geren...she is a little under a month old - so tiny and adorable! It was great to catch up with her parent's too - some of our good friends, Brett & Lindsay!

On the house front - things are changing every day. We stopped by this weekend and they were putting in all of the light fixtures. The main things that are left include painting the outside, installing the counter tops and back splash, finishing the HVAC and plumbing, cleaning, finishes, flooring and landscaping. After almost nine months of living out of plastic tubs, we're finally within 2-3 weeks of having a home of our own.

To end this post...Graham had a little accident on Sunday. He was getting ready for his nap and hit his head on the rail of his crib. Poor baby had the biggest goose egg that I've ever seen. Here are a few pics of Graham's battle wound...and then just a few pics from a few days ago that are cute (to finish on a happy note).

Two days after (today)...you can't really tell in this pic but he has two black eyes. :(
