Weekend on the Road

Last weekend Nate was hunting at my grandparent's in Iowa so I decided to take Graham to Maryville for Northwest homecoming and to see his best friend, Morley. We headed up after work on Friday and spent the evening playing. We stayed with Dana's parent's (thanks Bob and Diane - you're awesome!) so Graham and Morley could have a slumber party. They play so great together, talking and laughing the whole time. We've gotten the kiddos together a lot since their births (one week apart) - I love love love seeing them grow up together and interact. They are now to the point where they say each other's names ("Gam" and "Mo-ley") - it is the cutest thing EVER!

While in Maryville, I took Graham to his first parade...and it was a cold one. Graham sat there taking it all in for most of the parade...then he decided he wanted to get out and run around so it was time for us to move along. :)

We skipped out on the homecoming game and headed up to Bedford to see my grandparents. It had been several months since we had seen them so it was good to catch up. Graham loved the farm and even got to feed the kitties with Grandpa.
