...a Home is Built from Love Alone.
Nate and I've been looking for a house with our realtor since before we moved to KC (almost 2 months) with zero luck. Since we will likely be in this home for awhile, we don't want to settle. Nate really wants to be in the country so the lot is very important to him - he needs space and trees. We've found houses that we like but they haven't been in the right place. So, when we came across an awesome lot in a great neighborhood we decided that the house we love needs to be there. We are finalizing the cost now - that should hopefully be done this week. During our meeting with the builder last week, he thought he could start digging this week as well, estimating the home to be finished by February or March. The optimist in me wants to believe that's true...however, my realist other half, Nate, is probably more accurate, believing it will be ready for move in sometime in April.
Here are pictures of the lot and model - the house that we want with a few very minor modifications. These show some of my fave features of the house! :) Now, let's hope that things keep heading in the right direction and this all becomes a reality in the next six months.

The lot Located in a cul-de-sac, backing to trees and 10 acre lots |

| We would potentially add a beverage cooler under the counter instead of using this as a desk. |

| The living room |
 |
| Cute "mud room" area right inside the garage. |
 |
| Laundry room off the master closet - Love! |

| Master bedroom |
 |
| Master bathroom |
 |
| Looove the tile shower - two shower heads, one being a rainfall. |
 |
| Kitchen with walk-in pantry - quite possibly my fave room in the house. |
