Mama's Doctor's Appointment

I had my follow-up doctor's appointment yesterday and he let me know that I'm completely healed and can start working out again - yay! Not that I've really missed working out a ton but I do feel better after getting a good sweat in...and, I'm ready to get my body back in shape! I got my first run in this morning; boy do I have some work to do...it was a little rough, but in a good way!

The doctor I saw yesterday was the doctor who delivered Graham so he took 20 or 30 minutes just to talk about him. He told me again (for at least the third time) that all future babies will need to be delivered via c-section. He also said that he had been thinking about us a lot - he delivers so many babies that he typically doesn't remember specific deliveries but that he won't forget ours because it was the second worst delivery he has seen. I knew that our delivery was serious but hearing the doctor say this really put everything in perspective and reminds me how lucky we are that our baby is 1) still alive and 2) doesn't have brain damage from going without oxygen.

Here's a pic of our sweet baby and I snuggling before Graham's afternoon nap.
