Life Update

I don’t have anything too exciting to report but I wanted to share a couple cute pics of Graham and Kambree playing outside together last week. Graham wanted to see his cousins so we stopped by Andee and Derek’s for a little playtime before dinner. The hour that we were there consisted of running around outside and launching rockets over and over again. It wasn't easy but I was finally able to drag my sweaty kid away so we could go home and eat dinner! Although, the entire way home he was asking if he could go back and play some more.

In other not-too-exciting news, we spent our rainy weekend getting things done around the house. We cleaned – a task we always dread – and I went through all of Graham’s clothes bins, organized everything (constantly asking myself why I didn't do a better job when I packed everything way), washed the newborn – 12-month clothes and organized the new baby’s closet and dresser. It was quite the job but I’m so glad I did it now while I have energy. I know I’ll probably get tired again in the coming weeks so I’m trying to get as much done as I can. And, my type-A personality loves the organization…I can’t help it! Plus, with all of the bins out of my way, I can really get to decorating – yay! I've been pinning away and know what I want to do…I’m just waiting on sales and deciding what I can create myself. I love a good craft project – usually until I’m about half-way through it – so I’m hoping that I can save a few dollars by making some things myself (you’re welcome, husband). Hopefully it all comes together exactly as I see it in my head!

Lastly, here are a couple final pics of Graham practicing with his roller skates tonight. Yeah, we have more work to do! ;)
