Gearing Up for Christmas

Life has been pretty busy lately and I am way behind on blog posts. Here is what we were up to in the days leading up to Christmas.

Graham got a special video message from Santa...he thought it was the best thing ever and watched it about 10 times (maybe more)! :)

 We got our first snow in Kansas City. My work closed for the day so I worked from home while Graham played. He begged all morning (starting at 7:30 AM) to play in the snow so, after lunch, we went out, rolled around, climbed the North Mountain (for all you Frozen watchers) and built a snowman. Graham loved playing in the snow and had a fit when we made him come in with little red cheeks and fingers. He is ready for more snow!

He was off before the garage was all the way open.

 Graham got to spend an evening with the Ellis' while Nate and I went to a Christmas party. He was, of course, wide awake when we got there to pick him up a little after 11 PM.

 He was a "big" help when it came to wrapping presents. ;)

 We ran into Santa again when we went to get groceries at Hy-Vee...look at that ornery face!
