Brady's Birthday Weekend

We haven't been up to a whole lot lately - pretty much just hanging out at home so I haven't had a lot of blog material. Here are a couple pics from last week though - Graham being the crazy kid that he is!
Alright, this one is sweet not crazy! Sometimes he will snuggle and we hold hands! :)
A mustache and beard..."like Daddy!"
Nate has been getting to duck/goose hunt with his buddies. He hunts at a farm in Liberty which we love b/c it is so close...he is usually back before lunch!
Graham tested out the bath finger paints he got for Christmas...
...and he's a BIG fan!
This weekend we actually did have plans. Brady turned 7...not sure how that is even possible! My parents came to KC on Friday and stayed with us. The whole family came for dinner that night and we just hung out which was nice. We love family time! Saturday everyone went to watch Brady tear it  up on the basketball court. He is such a stud, making basket after basket and hustling up and down the court! Graham wanted to be big so bad and even sat on the "bench" (aka - the back of Brady's chair) during a little bit of the game. And, he was right up there with the coach, who happens to be Derek. :) Before we know it, we'll be watching Graham play basketball! After the game we went to Andee and Derek's for lunch and the birthday party. It was a great time!

Happy birthday, buddy!!
These three!
That evening, Graham got to spend time with his Grandpa and Grandma too...Nate's parents stayed with him while we had a parents dinner out to kick off restaurant week. Unfortunately, Graham started feeling rough which resulted in all three of us being up all night - Graham coughing, stirring and crying while Nate and I tried to console him. We ended up taking him to urgent care as soon as they opened today - the poor baby is sick and just not himself. I was worried that he might have an ear infection but it turns out he just has a virus and there is nothing much we can do but let it run its course. At least we know now...hopefully we're over the worst of it and he starts to feel, sleep and eat better! There is nothing worse than a sick kiddo!
He was such a good little patient and did exactly what the nurse and doctor told him.
Still my sweetheart, even with a nasty cold!
