Busy Weeks, Low Key Weekends

The past couple weeks have been very busy for Nate and I work-wise so we've been trying to relax as much as we can on the weekends. Though we've been crazy at work lately, we've still managed to have a little fun. We spent time with my parents last weekend when they were in town, I attended one of my BFF's bridal shower in Maryville, we went to an outside gathering with friends, had a couple dinners with friends and then spent the majority of this weekend relaxing at home. Graham went to the zoo and then stayed at Grandma and Papa's house in Gallatin one night so Nate and I took that opportunity to celebrate our anniversary a few days early. We went to Capital Grill on the Plaza - a fancy steakhouse that I'd never been to and the type of place that we don't go to for just any occasion. It was delish and so great to spend a little time with my husband when we weren't having to entertain a toddler or pick food up off the ground. I kind of feel like we could have gotten some things done around the house since it was a long weekend (my busy-body self can't help it) but, that being said, sometimes it's nice to just have a weekend where you don't do much of anything. :)

This kiddo didn't even make it out of Gallatin before he crashed on the way home.
I think it's safe to say that he had a blast with this Grandma, Papa and cousins!
