Friends

One of the best things about being in Kansas City is that we are so close to family and friends. We take advantage of this huge perk every time we can.

A couple weeks ago, Jeff had a Chief's party and Graham's buddy Landon (and his awesome parents) came over. Graham and Landon go to daycare together so they get to play every day but it's always fun to have a friend over.

My girlfriends have had monthly-ish gatherings for as long as I can remember (they would sometimes include me on the invite emails so I wouldn't feel so left out :))...but I was never able to go because we lived in either Chicago or Des Moines and the dinners were during the work week. Well, now I can attend! Last week a few of us (many of the girls weren't able to make it) met on the Plaza for dinner at The Melting Pot. It was a perfect location for a girl's night since Nate would never want to go there with me..."men need meat!" Here are a few of my fave peeps!
