Graham is 1 year old

March 28th - Graham's first birthday - concluded the fastest year of my life! The week leading up to his birthday I was filled with happy/sad emotions - I have never been more proud of anything but, at the same time, get a little heavy-hearted thinking about how fast the time has gone and how much my baby has changed in the last 365 days. On the positive side, Graham has brought so much joy to the lives of the people around him. He is such an easy going, happy little boy and I am so grateful that God has given him to us!

At 1 year old, Graham is all over the place and into everything. Here are a few updates on what he's doing:

• Graham hasn't lost his dance moves - he loves music, whether other people can hear it or not.
• He loves to eat (most of the time). Favorite foods consist of mac and cheese, chicken nuggets, pizza, grilled cheese, pancakes, yogurt and graham crackers, to name a few.
• Graham is walking more every day, and feeling more sure of skillz.
• He's into basketball right now - he has a basketball toy in the living room and the bath tub and plays with them constantly. Every time he makes a basket, he claps and then looks to make sure everyone in the room is praising him as well. :)
• Cars is another fave game...Graham will make the noise has he "drives" them around.
• He'll blow kisses and is starting to make a kissing noise which is super-cute!
• Graham has 7 (almost 8) teeth - there are 4 on top and three on bottom with the fourth right there.

We also had Graham's 1-year well baby visit on his birthday...poor baby had to get 3 shots and his finger poked (poor planning on mom's part). The doctor said that he looks great and advised that we start transitioning away from the bottle and binky - we're currently in the process of that. We're also on whole milk now which is awesome. • Height: 31.2 inches -- 93rd percentile
• Weight: 21 lbs, 15 oz -- 61st percentile
• Head Circumference: 18.5 inches -- 82nd percentile
