Graham had his 6 month birthday last week...the start of my FAVE age! However, I must say that I'm a little surprised at how much I really liked the little baby stage too...maybe it's b/c he's mine...maybe it's b/c I had never really spent a ton of time with little babies. Whatever it is, each stage - from 1 week to 1 month to 6 months - has been amazing and rewarding. I am so thankful for my happy, healthy baby Graham!
Some updates on our babe:
- First of all - Graham is healthy again, thank goodness! We went for a follow-up appointment to his ER visit on Friday. The urine culture came back negative which means he didn't have a UTI or bladder infection. Basically they don't know what was wrong with him but the doc isn't worried unless it happens again. He took Graham off the antibiotic. He also took him off the thrush medicine so they can see if he's over it when we go for his 6-month well baby visit next week. It's great to finally be off all the meds!!
- Graham is a social little guy - he loves people!
- He is sitting up all by himself now. I actually picked him up from daycare one day and he was just sitting there playing.
- Graham is quite the sleeper. We put him down between 8 and 8:30pm and he sleeps until 7am. I sometimes try to snuggle him so he'll sleep on me for awhile before I put him in bed but he prefers to go to sleep in his crib. At least he's still cuddly in the morning. :)
- We're feeding Graham two solid meals a day - cereal and fruit in the morning and cereal and veggies for dinner. The only thing he hasn't liked are avocados. He was a little unsure of green beans at first but seems like like them now...which is good b/c we have lots of those from Grandpa and Grandma.
- Graham loves bath time - we sing songs and he kicks/splashes and talks the whole time. I've been thinking about looking for a baby swim class to enroll us in since G loves the water...I want that to continue.
- He gets noticeably excited when he sees Nate or I...melts my heart!
