Nate was at the gym last night playing basketball when, at the end of the final game, he landed on his foot wrong and turned his ankle. He hobbled home and iced/elevated all night but unfortunately the doctor confirmed that he broke his foot and right above his ankle. The good news, the doctor gave him a boot instead of a cast and crutches. The bad news, Nate heads to Orlando on Sunday morning for his annual flooring show which involves lots of walking and all-day standing. Hopefully there will be some downtime to rest and he’ll be on the road to recovery so when he goes back to the doctor in three weeks, we’ll get some more good news.

Ouch, Nate! That looks really painful - and all in the name of a little exercise! Maybe you should consider taking Jess with you to Orlando (for moral support). I'm sure she'd be more than willing to help out.
