December 28th was Graham's 9-month birthday...hard to believe. I'm afraid to blink b/c I know when my eyes open, by baby will be turning 1. Here's an update:
- Big news - we have a crawler (see videos below)!! We've been working on it for awhile but G has preferred to roll...until last night when he decided he really wanted Nate's iPad.
- Graham still loves to eat! He as mastered feeding himself puffs, yogurt melts and Gerber cheetos. We just switched to feeding him three solid meals a day - fruit/cereal in the morning, a veggie for lunch and then "big people" food in the evening. So far we've tried mac and cheese, toast, scrambled eggs and cheese...Graham is a big fan of breakfast (def our kiddo)!
- Graham is very vocal...he babbles constantly, adding new sounds all the time. He's been saying mama, dada, gaa, baba, naanaa, paa, uh (working on uh-oh but can't quite get the two sounds together), etc.
- We're working on sign language, focusing on "more," "eat," and "all done." Graham has signed "more" a few times but it could just be a coincidence?
- Graham is a busy-body...with the exception of his morning bottle, he won't lay still for anything.
- A few updates that happened just this weekend - we got new car seats b/c Graham is outgrowing his infant carrier, we dropped his crib down to the lowest setting and I took the pad off of his changing table turning it into just a dresser now. (Fact - it sounds crazy but this was kind of a lot for a mama to handle in one weekend...too big, too fast.)
- We had Graham's 9-month well baby visit on January 2nd - the doctor said he looks perfect! She also said, after seeing how active he is, that we're going to have a climber on our hands. Great! :)
