Thursday was Graham's first day of daycare and my first day back to work...it was a rough one but thankfully tear-free. (Unfortunately, I can't say the same for my last day at home with him...shoot!) The daycare we chose encourages parents to call and stop by to check in and since it is located only five minutes from my office, I spent my lunch hour with Graham. As I was pulling into the parking lot the director called to let me know that Graham hadn't been eating well that morning so I'm really glad I stopped in and could feed him his bottle. The afternoon went better - he ate from his teachers and was a happy boy when I picked him up.
I checked in again mid-day on Friday to make sure he was eating - he was doing good, eating and as the director said, "a happy camper!" That sure made for a happy mama! I must say though - I have NEVER been so happy for 5pm every day!!
