Two Weeks Old

Graham is two weeks old today - hard to believe he have had him that long already! We had our two week appointment today and a physical therapy appointment. Both went really well! The pediatrician checked him over, let us know that everything looks great and provided the percentiles that Graham falls into:
  • Height: 20 3/4 inches -- 62nd percentile
  • Weight: 8lbs 5 oz -- 43rd percentile
  • Head Circumference: 15" -- 97th percentile
During our physical therapy appointment, the therapist did several different tests to check for muscle movement. She told us that he has made improvements from last week and that they are really excited about his progress - this obviously made our day and gave us another sigh of relief. We were taught some different "play" movements to do with Graham, on top of our routine exercises that we do with every diaper change. Tomorrow we have another PT appointment at the monthly clinic where the head doctor will observe Graham and provide some further explanation.

In other Graham news:
  1. His belly button fell off yesterday and the doctor told us that it looks great. We can now submerge him in water for baths...but, for the time being, I think the sink baths will be easier. :)
  2. Nate got to feed Graham for the first time. I pumped so we can start feeding him some bottles and Graham took it with no issues!
  3. He has outgrown his first sleeper...the only thing that fit him in the hospital. :(
  4. This is more news regarding me but I made my first solo trip with Graham today. I've been nervous about getting out by myself but after a few practice runs with Nate, I felt a little more confident. After a successful trip today, I think I can safely say that I'm no longer nervous about going places with a baby...another sigh of relief!
