Snowfall on Week 19

This morning, the start of week 19, I woke up to a blanket of snow on our house and driveway. As my growing belly and I ventured out into the cold for work, I wished we could skip right over winter, jump to spring and welcome our little baby! I really can't complain thought - the first half (almost) of my pregnancy has been pretty easy. And, in six short days we'll have our 20 week ultrasound! I think I'm almost as excited to have the ultrasound as I am to have the baby...we'll get the excitement of knowing what we're having and I won't have the pain!

Symptoms: Not much has changes since my last prego post. The heartburn has decided to stick around...most days (yes, almost every day) it's fairly minor but I can definitely say, without a doubt, that I have experienced the worst heartburn of my life while being pregnant. I'm pretty sure I've gone through more Tums in the last few weeks then I've gone through in my entire life. Adult acne has also decided to stay...but my back hasn't ached quite as much (plus!). The other thing I started noticing the last couple days - my belly has been itchy. My remedy: more cocoa butter! :)

Cravings: Sweets! I've been trying to be smart and not eat a bunch of unhealthy foods but I prefer to end most meals with a little sugar.

Latest Find: All of my prego friends, former prego friends and former prego sister say that their body pillow was their life saver. I finally purchased one...why did I wait so long? I don't think I could sleep without it now...love that thing!

19 weeks
Baby H - size of large mango
On another baby note - our nursery furniture was delivered a couple weeks ago. Once we find out if Baby H is a boy or girl I'll get to start decorating...one of my favorite things to do! I know that Nate has been dying to paint...alright, maybe not but I know he'll be a good sport about it.
