When spring finally made its way to Iowa, we had a long list of home projects to complete before it started getting cold again. Our list included:
- Put rocks under the deck
- Paint the inside of the house
- Hang the shutters
- Hang the storm door
- Find porch furniture
- Finish the landscaping
- Paint the porch
- Paint the front door
Week by week, month by month, we slowly crossed projects off our list. Finally, this week, we completed our last project - painting the front door! When we started, our list seemed pretty daunting; and while I’m sure that projects will continue to come up, it feels pretty great to have accomplished so much!
