Gearing up for the holidays

Christmas is upon us and our house is ready! We are in the midst of present wrapping, Santa visiting, gingerbread house making, Christmas card sending, holiday movie watching...basically anything that involves Christmas, we are game!!

Last weekend we got to visit Santa...and, actually happened to run into him a second time that same day. We got up Saturday morning and went to our neighbors' house for Donuts with Santa. It was so fun hanging out with and meeting new neighbors. Graham immediately went to talk to Santa...we even got a picture with Cash on his lap. Cash was a little unsure of the man in a red suit but, with brother by his side, he put on a brave face. After our morning fun, we went to Nate's Grandview project site where his customers were having an event for kids to ride/drive the heavy machinery. Graham got to drive a huge tractor and a backhoe. Cash (and Nate) even got to go out in a tractor. Since we were somewhat in the area, we decided to head to Scheels for a little Christmas shopping. Along with shopping, I think we played almost all the games they have there, Graham and I rode the ferris wheel and the boys got to see Santa again. Graham was relieved because he forgot to tell him a few things he wanted. :) Cash even walked up to him with a big smile and sat on him lap again. It was such a fun day with the family, just doing what we felt like doing...together.

I love how Graham is holding my hand in this picture. He told me that he wasn't scared, he just loved me...even though I could tell that he was a little scared at first.
We also had Graham's Christmas program last week. Graham has been practicing his songs for weeks and he was so excited. To prove his level of excitement, he came into our bathroom first thing in the morning on program day with his dress-up clothes already on...and the program wasn't until 7pm. Luckily, I convinced him to change into play clothes for school so he didn't get his nice clothes dirty before. He's the cutest!
This guy wasn't in the greatest of moods for the program...I think he was tired. ;)
Here are a few more recent pics...a couple of our normal weekend activity and Graham's school pictures.
