I'm a little late to post but we had an amazing Thanksgiving weekend. Things have been a little crazy lately so it was perfect timing for a long weekend! We kicked off or weekend with a pre-Thanksgiving dinner at Andee & Derek's. The kiddos got to play and the adults got to hang out - win-win! Thanksgiving day was spent in Bedford, IA at my grandparent's house with the Cooper family. It was great to see everyone and get a little family time in...it had been several months since we've seen my aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents. That night my sisters, mom and I went "Black Friday" shopping at Target. I was a little leery about crowds and crazy people but it ended up not being bad at all. And, I scored some great deals...plus, we got some girl time in which was hands-down my favorite part! The rest of the weekend was spent going to dinner with friends and just relaxing as a family. Perfection!
I am thankful every day for the many blessings in my life but, with another Thanksgiving, I like to stop and really think about those blessings. I have the most amazing best friend who I am lucky enough to call my husband. My baby boy and biggest accomplishment...I am so blessed to be his mommy! We have the best families who we love dearly! Our friends are awesome...and are really considered an extended family to us. We have our health, jobs and a home that we love. This life is filled with beautiful blessings and we couldn't be more grateful!
