Weekend Away

Last weekend Nate and I went to the Ozarks for a couple “adult” days with friends! We didn’t leave until Friday afternoon so it was a short but fun and relaxing trip. Plus, the weather was beautiful and the lake wasn’t very busy which made the weekend that much better. We spent the majority of our time outside in the sun and were able to take the boat and jet skis out several times. Aww, I absolutely love the lake!

Since no other kiddos were going down to the lake, we thought Graham would have a better time in Gallatin with Grandma and Grandpa. From the sound of it, he had a blast playing at the farm and chasing the new kittens…and I’m sure he wasn’t spoiled at all. ;)

Really lovin' them
On our way home...Graham "needed" pillows

We sure did miss our little dude though and were glad to get him back on Sunday...and then spoil him with a train table someone in our neighborhood was selling. (Deal of the year!) We got the table and TONS of tracks and trains which have taken over our playroom. Graham is more than obsessed...his daycare provider says he talks about his "train table" all day long and that's all he wants to play with when we're at home. Besides the fact that we have to pull him away (usually with a few tears) for dinner, bath and bed...I'd say it was a successful purchase. Thankfully this weekend we'll be at home and he can get some serious train table playtime in!
