This weekend was Labor Day...and our second anniversary! It's hard to believe that we have already been married for two years because it seems like our wedding was just yesterday! Since we had a four-day weekend, we spent the first half with family and friends and the second half, just the two of us. I went down to KC on Thursday night to help with Brady and Kambree so Andee could stay with Derek during his back surgery on Friday. (Feel better Derek!) Nate had a bachelor party in DSM on Friday night so we met in Gallatin on Saturday for Worm and Kim's baby shower BBQ, where we were also asked if we would be baby Brody's God parents - what an honor! After the BBQ we spent some quality time with Chris, Andrea, Cole and Emma before calling it a night. Sunday before heading home, we had lunch with Mike, Vicki and Jeremy - it was great spending time with the family before we left!
We decided to celebrate our anniversary by just being home together - it was perfect! We went to Flemming's (one of favs) for dinner and then to a movie (another fav)! We spent Monday just lounging around together, running errands and cooking dinner! It was the best weekend!
